Hindu Sabha is in northeast Brampton on The Gore Road, roughly 45 minutes drive from downtown Toronto and 15 minutes from Toronto Pearson Airport. The mandir has a large free parking lot with 800+ spaces and overflow parking for festival days; valet parking is offered during Diwali and major weddings.

By air: Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) is 16 km away (20 min drive). By GO Train: Bramalea Station (Lakeshore West / Kitchener line) is 9 km; Brampton Station is 12 km, with Brampton Transit bus connection. By Toronto Transit: Take the TTC to Kipling subway station, then MiWay / Brampton Transit Zum bus. By car: From downtown Toronto take the Gardiner Expressway → Highway 427 north → Highway 407 ETR west → exit at The Gore Road north; the mandir is 1.5 km north of Highway 7.

Brampton is 45 minutes from downtown Toronto and 20 minutes from Pearson International. Highway 407 ETR is the fastest route from Pearson (tolled) or the free Highway 401 via Highway 410. The Mandir is clearly signposted on The Gore Road. During Diwali and Navratri, expect significant traffic delays on local streets — use alternate routes via Castlemore Road or Highway 7 to avoid the worst congestion. The mandir offers valet parking for a small donation during festival days.

For first-time visitors, the Sunday morning Sabha (9 AM to 12:30 PM) is the quintessential experience — expect crowds but enthusiastic welcome from volunteer greeters who help new visitors find seating, explain the service, and direct you to the appropriate priest for your specific need (marriage blessing, namakaran, grihapravesham, etc.). The Mandir's main office (adjacent to the entrance) offers printed guides in English, Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati and Tamil describing all services and sevas.

Where to Stay

Accommodation

Brampton and Mississauga have a wide range of hotels near the mandir: Hilton Garden Inn Brampton, Courtyard Marriott Mississauga-Airport Corporate Centre West, Delta Hotels by Marriott Toronto Airport & Conference Centre, Holiday Inn Toronto Airport East. Downtown Toronto hotels (Fairmont Royal York, Ritz-Carlton Toronto) are 45 minutes away. Brampton itself has one of the largest Indian vegetarian restaurant strips in North America along Airport Road and The Gore Road; Saravanaa Bhavan, Mahadev Family Restaurant, Govindji’s and Vaishno Devi Sweets all offer full South and North Indian vegetarian menus within 5 km of the mandir.

Brampton itself has limited mid-range hotel stock due to being a primarily residential city; the Hilton Garden Inn Brampton and Courtyard Marriott Brampton are the best in-city options. For more choice, Mississauga (Airport Corporate Centre) has many Marriott, Hilton and IHG properties within 15 minutes of the temple. For longer stays, several Indo-Canadian families operate Airbnb and family-stay options in the immediate neighbourhood — a useful option for attending multi-day weddings or ceremonies at the mandir. Brampton also has one of the largest concentrations of Indian restaurants in North America — The Gore Road and Airport Road corridors host 100+ Gujarati, Punjabi, Tamil, Malayali, Kashmiri and Sindhi restaurants, most pure-vegetarian and many owned by temple devotees.
