The Sacred Story of Parama Ekadashi
Lord Krishna narrated this katha to King Yudhishthira. A poor Brahmin named Kaundinya, having lost wealth, health and peace, approached a sage in distress. The sage told him of Parama Ekadashi, observed in the dark fortnight of Adhik Maas. The Brahmin kept the vrat with full faith; before long prosperity returned, his family was blessed, and he attained peace. Krishna declared that whoever observes Parama Ekadashi destroys the sins of many lifetimes and receives the blessings of Lord Narayana.
