Description of the Divine Form

I constantly meditate upon Lord Varada Ganesha, who shines with the brilliant red radiance of vermilion, who is eternal, pure, and stainless, and who adorns the crescent moon upon His head. With loving and compassionate glances, He looks toward the lotus-like face of Goddess Lakshmi seated on His left. In His hands, He holds the noose (Pasha), the elephant goad (Ankusha), the gesture of fearlessness (Abhaya Mudra), and the gesture of granting boons (Varada Mudra). He is the elephant-faced Lord who removes all obstacles and bestows prosperity and abundance upon His devotees.
