Sacred Calendar
Days that turn the temple into a constellation of light, music, and shared prayer.
Nine days of the Devi — twice yearly the bhavan witnesses millions of pilgrims in saffron, completing the 13km trek with bare feet.
The cave shrine and entire trek route are lit with lakhs of diyas — Mata's palki travels across the valley at midnight.
Special mela at Banganga marking the start of fair season — Mata's gangajal is taken from this stream for daily abhishek.
Diyas float down Banganga and a special bhog of kheer is offered at the holy cave.
Sacred Moments
A visual pilgrimage — captured in the soft light of dusk and the gold of dawn.

Devotee Voices
Words from those whose lives were touched within these walls.
I climbed for 13km in the snow last December. Halfway up, I wanted to turn back. Then a stranger handed me hot tea and said "Mata is calling, beta." I made it.
Inside the cave, the three pindis appear in a single glance. For one second, all my problems became smaller than that flame.
My mom said: "We don't go to Mata, she calls us." Three years she had been asking me to come. The day I went, my son was conceived.
