Mother's grace is real and it lives at Sri Mariamman Temple. After our IVF failures, my husband and I came here for nine consecutive Tuesdays. Our son Aadhya is now four years old. Devi knows every prayer.
I run a small business in Singapore and was nearly bankrupt. A friend brought me to Sri Mariamman Temple. I sat through one full Lalitha Sahasranama recitation. Within two months, three new contracts came. I now sponsor an annadanam every Friday.
The kumkum from Sri Mariamman Temple sits on my dressing table every morning. I have travelled across India, but this Devi's gaze — there is something fiercer and more loving about it than anywhere else.
