Welcome to the Sanctum
The Meenakshi Sundareshwar temple in Madurai is dedicated to Devi Meenakshi and her consort Sundareshwar (Shiva). Its twelve towering gopurams and the Hall of a Thousand Pillars are masterpieces of Dravidian architecture.
