Shrimaadvagbhavakuutaikasvarupamukha-pankaja (श्रीमद्वाग्भवकूटैकस्वरूपमुखपङ्कजा, IAST: Śrīmadvāgbhavakūṭaikasvarūpamukhapaṅkajā) is a Sanskrit-origin Hindu girl-name meaning “Whose lotus face embodies the auspicious Vagbhava Kuta”. The Devī's radiant lotus-face is declared to be none other than the living form of the Vāgbhava Kūṭa — the first syllabic group of the Pañcadaśī or Ṣoḍaśī mantra — revealing that Her very countenance is the seed-syllable of supreme speech and creative power.

Meaning, etymology & significance

Śrīmat denotes supreme auspiciousness, vāgbhava means born of speech or the Vāgbhava section of the mūlamantra, kūṭa is a peak or section of the Śrī Vidyā mantra, eka means sole or singular, svarūpa means true form or essence, mukha means face, and paṅkajā means lotus. In Śrī Vidyā tantra, the Pañcadaśākṣarī mantra is divided into three kūṭas, each corresponding to a part of the Devī's form; the Vāgbhava Kūṭa governs creation and is identified with Her face. This name is thus a deeply esoteric declaration of the identity of mantra and the Goddess's form.

This name is especially significant in Śrī Vidyā upāsanā, where meditating upon it is said to awaken the creative power of speech and inner wisdom in the sādhaka. Mukhapaṅkajā, meaning 'she of the lotus face,' is a poetic name component occasionally given to girls.
