According to a recent international survey, nearly 45% of women around the world may remain unmarried over the next six years. This report was published in the Lokmat newspaper on February 1, 2025, and is based on a detailed study conducted by Morgan Stanley.

Main Reasons Identified in the Survey:

1. Today's women are pursuing higher education and prioritizing their careers.
2. They are financially independent and do not wish to depend on anyone.
3. They value freedom and want to make their own life decisions.
4. They have begun to view marriage, motherhood, and family responsibilities as obstacles to their progress.
5. If this trend continues, the traditional family system and social structure may weaken.
6. Population decline, an increase in the number of unmarried men, and loneliness in old age may become significant concerns.
7. A question also arises: If there is no one to stand by you in the final stages of life, what is the benefit of success, status, and wealth?

Many parents are searching for suitable matches for their daughters, but the girls themselves are not interested in marriage. As a result, every proposal is being rejected.

A large section of society is still unaware of the seriousness of this change, so it is important that we become aware of it in time.

The appropriate age for marriage for girls should be between 23 and 26 years, or even earlier if possible. For this, awareness and initiative at the community level are necessary.

This issue is not raised against anyone but out of concern for future stability and balance. Maintaining harmony between society, family, and personal life is true progress.
