Detailed Job Duties

Priests will have full responsibility for:

  • Daily poojas, archanas, abhishekam, and aarti (morning, afternoon, evening)
  • Special pujas such as Satyanarayana Pooja, Gowri-Ganesha Pooja, Durga Sapthasathi, and Mata-ki-Chowki
  • Various havans including Ganesh Havan, Sudharshana Havan, Navagraha Havan, Rudra Havan, Chandi Havan, and Mrityunjaya Havan
  • Parayana of Vishnu Sahasranama, Lalitha Sahasranamam, Rudra, Hanuman Chalisa, Sundarkand, and Akhand Ramayan
  • Devatha Kalyanam ceremonies (Shiva-Parvathi, Venkateshwara, Sita-Rama, Rukmini-Krishna)
  • Life-cycle rituals: Gruha Pravesh, weddings, Namakarana, Upanayana, Srimanth, and all Apara samskaras

Eligibility Requirements

  • Well-versed in Vedic rituals and qualified in Shodasha Karmas
  • Valid certification from a recognised university or Hindu religious organisation
  • Friendly demeanor, high ethical standards, and ability to work collaboratively
  • Good English communication skills + basic computer knowledge
  • Experience with alankaram and leading bhajans / spiritual activities is highly desirable
