Transliteration:
Shri Guru charan saroj raj, nij manu mukuru sudhari. Barnau Raghubar bimal jasu, jo dayaku phal chari.
English Meaning: With the dust of my Guru's lotus feet, I cleanse the mirror of my mind. I now sing the pure glory of Shri Raghuvara (Lord Rama), the bestower of the four fruits of life — Dharma (righteousness), Artha (wealth), Kama (desire), and Moksha (liberation).

बुद्धिहीन तनु जानिके, सुमिरौं पवन-कुमार। बल बुद्धि विद्या देहु मोहिं, हरहु कलेस विकार॥
Transliteration:
Buddhihin tanu janike, sumirau Pavan Kumar. Bal buddhi vidya dehu mohin, harahu kales vikar.
English Meaning: Knowing myself to be without intelligence or strength, I remember You, O Son of the Wind (Pavan Kumar — Hanuman). Please bless me with strength, wisdom, and knowledge, and remove all my suffering and impurities.

Transliteration:
Jai Hanuman gyan gun sagar. Jai Kapis tihun lok ujagar.
English Meaning: Victory to Hanuman, the ocean of wisdom and virtue! Victory to the Lord of monkeys, who illuminates all three worlds — Earth (Bhuloka), Heaven (Svarga), and the Netherworld (Patala).

राम दूत अतुलित बल धामा। अंजनि पुत्र पवनसुत नामा॥
Transliteration:
Ram doot atulit bal dhama. Anjani putra Pavansut nama.
English Meaning: You are the messenger of Lord Ram and the abode of incomparable strength. You are known by the names Anjani Putra (son of Anjana) and Pavansut (son of the Wind God).

महावीर विक्रम बजरंगी। कुमति निवार सुमति के संगी॥
Transliteration:
Mahavir vikram Bajrangi. Kumati nivar sumati ke sangi.
English Meaning: O Mahavir (Great Hero), brave and powerful, with a body as strong as a thunderbolt (Bajrangi)! You drive away evil thoughts and are a companion to those with noble minds.

कंचन बरन बिराज सुबेसा। कानन कुंडल कुंचित केसा॥
Transliteration:
Kanchan baran biraj subesa. Kanan kundal kunchit kesa.
English Meaning: Your complexion shines like gold and you are adorned in magnificent attire. You wear earrings in your ears and your hair is beautifully curled.

हाथ बज्र औ ध्वजा बिराजै। काँधे मूँज जनेऊ साजै॥
Transliteration:
Hath bajra au dhwaja birajai. Kandhe moonj janeu sajai.
English Meaning: In your hands shine the thunderbolt (vajra) and the divine flag (dhwaja). On your shoulder rests the sacred thread (janeu) made of moonga — the mark of a Brahmin scholar and renunciant.

शंकर सुवन केसरी नंदन। तेज प्रताप महा जग वंदन॥
Transliteration:
Shankar suvan Kesari Nandan. Tej pratap maha jag vandan.
English Meaning: You are the son of Lord Shiva and the beloved son of Kesari (your father). Your radiance and power are so immense that the whole world bows before you in reverence.

विद्यावान गुनी अति चातुर। राम काज करिबे को आतुर॥
Transliteration:
Vidyavan guni ati chatur. Ram kaj karibe ko atur.
English Meaning: You are supremely learned, virtuous, and extraordinarily wise. You are ever eager and devoted to carrying out the tasks of Lord Ram.

Prabhu charitra sunibe ko rasiya. Ram Lakhan Sita man basiya.
English Meaning: You delight in listening to the divine deeds and stories of the Lord. Ram, Lakshman, and Sita dwell forever in your heart.

सूक्ष्म रूप धरि सियहिं दिखावा। विकट रूप धरि लंक जरावा॥
Transliteration:
Sookshma roop dhari Siyahin dikhava. Vikat roop dhari Lanka jarava.
English Meaning: You assumed a tiny (subtle) form to appear before Mother Sita in Lanka. Then you took a terrifying, enormous form and set the entire city of Lanka ablaze.

भीम रूप धरि असुर सँहारे। रामचन्द्र के काज सँवारे॥
Transliteration:
Bheem roop dhari asur sanghare. Ramchandra ke kaj sanware.
English Meaning: Taking a fearsome form, you annihilated the demons. In doing so, you accomplished all the great works of Lord Ramchandra.

लाय सजीवन लखन जियाये। श्री रघुबीर हरषि उर लाये॥
Transliteration:
Laye Sanjivan Lakhan jiyaye. Shri Raghubir harashi ur laye.
English Meaning: You brought the Sanjeevani herb and revived Lakshman from near-death. With great joy, Shri Ram (Raghubir) embraced you lovingly to his heart.

रघुपति कीन्ही बहुत बड़ाई। तुम मम प्रिय भरतहि सम भाई॥

Raghupati kinhi bahut badai. Tum mam priya Bharat-hi sam bhai.
English Meaning: Shri Ram praised you greatly and declared: "You are as dear to me as my own brother Bharat — I cherish you equally."

सहस बदन तुम्हरो जस गावैं। अस कहि श्रीपति कंठ लगावैं॥

Sahas badan tumharo jas gaavein. As kahi Shripati kanth lagavein.
English Meaning: "May a thousand mouths sing your glory!" — saying thus, the Lord of Lakshmi (Shri Ram) warmly embraced you to his chest.

सनकादिक ब्रह्मादि मुनीसा। नारद सारद सहित अहीसा॥

Sanakadik Brahmadi munisa. Narad Sarad sahit ahisa.
English Meaning: Sages like Sanaka, Lord Brahma himself, the great sage Narada, Goddess Saraswati (Sharada), and even Shesha — the king of serpents — all sing your praises without end.

Yam Kuber digpal jahan te. Kavi kovid kahi sake kahan te.

तुम उपकार सुग्रीवहिं कीन्हा। राम मिलाय राजपद दीन्हा॥

Tum upkar Sugrivahi tinha. Ram milay rajpad tinha.
English Meaning: You rendered a great service to Sugriva — you united him with Lord Ram and thus restored to him his rightful kingdom and royal throne.

तुम्हरो मंत्र विभीषण माना। लंकेश्वर भए सब जग जाना॥

Tumharo mantra Vibhishan mana. Lankeshwar bhaye sab jag jana.
English Meaning: Vibhishana followed your wise counsel and guidance — and he became the Lord of Lanka. The entire world knows and remembers this great story.

जुग सहस्र जोजन पर भानू। लील्यो ताहि मधुर फल जानू॥
Transliteration:
Yug sahastra yojan par bhaanu. Lilyo tahi madhur phal janu.
English Meaning: The Sun, situated thousands of yojanas (vast cosmic distances) away, you swallowed as a child — mistaking it for a sweet, ripe fruit. (Referring to the childhood leela of baby Hanuman leaping toward the Sun.)

प्रभु मुद्रिका मेलि मुख माहीं। जलधि लाँघि गये अचरज नाहीं॥
Transliteration:
Prabhu mudrika meli mukh mahin. Jaladhi langhi gaye acharaj nahin.
English Meaning: Holding Lord Ram's ring in your mouth, you leapt across the vast ocean to Lanka — is it any wonder? For one who carries Ram's name and token, no feat is impossible.

दुर्गम काज जगत के जेते। सुगम अनुग्रह तुम्हरे तेते॥

Durgam kaj jagat ke jete. Sugam anugraha tumhare tete.

राम दुआरे तुम रखवारे। होत न आज्ञा बिनु पैसारे॥

आपन तेज सम्हारो आपै। तीनों लोक हाँक तें काँपै॥

Apan tej samharo apai. Tinon lok hank te kanpai.
English Meaning: Only you yourself can contain your own blazing radiance and power. At your mighty roar, all three worlds tremble with awe and reverence.

भूत पिशाच निकट नहिं आवै। महावीर जब नाम सुनावै॥
Transliteration:
Bhoot pisach nikat nahin avai. Mahavir jab naam sunavai.
English Meaning: Ghosts, evil spirits, and dark forces dare not come near — the very moment the name of Mahavir (Hanuman) is uttered aloud, they flee in fear.

नासै रोग हरे सब पीरा। जपत निरंतर हनुमत बीरा॥
