During his childhood, his spiritual thoughts, meditative nature, and miracles set him unique from other children of his age, and He was also known as the Guru and Brahmajnani or Godhead among his friends and others. It didn’t last long until October 20,1940, the day Sai Baba made the declaration of his Avatar. With that announcement, he left his childhood home and began working on his mission.

Sai Baba teaches that human’s basic nature is divine and that the purpose of life is the realization of this divinity in oneself. This will be accomplished by leading a true and moral life, by giving selfless service to those who are in need, by engaging themselves in devotional practices, and by developing love and respect for all life given. As one strives to transform their life of self-centered desires and believes into a higher spiritual life of selflessness and devotion acts as the foundation for receiving God’s grace and love. It is this Grace that will reveal our true nature to each of us and enlighten us.

He also preaches that mankind is a unique one among all of God’s creations because human beings are capable of recognizing that they emerge from God. Sathya Sai Baba teaches us that all religions’ expressions are of the same universal principles that we follow.

He does not recommend us to become ascetics. Instead, he suggests us that the whole world is our school consisting of the five Human Values like truth, right conduct, peace, love, and nonviolence are our curriculum to be learned and followed.
