Prem Mandir is a Hindu temple to Radha and Krishna on the outskirts of Vrindavan, in Mathura district, Uttar Pradesh. Built in white marble and inaugurated in 2012, it was envisioned by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, and its complex spreads over about 54 acres, according to the Times of India.

The temple is devoted to the divine love of Radha and Krishna — 'prem' means love — and has become one of Vrindavan's best-known sights. President Droupadi Murmu has visited Prem Mandir and performed aarti there, All India Radio reported.

History of Prem Mandir, Vrindavan
The temple was inaugurated on 17 February 2012 with Vedic hymns. A report published ahead of the ceremony said construction had taken 11 years and cost over Rs 150 crore, using Italian marble, with thousands of workers from Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh contributing.
