In my opinion, it is not possible for everyone to completely stop thoughts in the way Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi did.
As householders, we should engage in reflection, contemplation, and direct our thoughts in the right direction. With firm conviction, we should cultivate the understanding that “Everything, including myself, is Brahman,” “I am not doing anything,” and “Everything is happening according to the laws of nature.”
Such continuous reflection, contemplation, and steadfast conviction are what lead us forward on the path of knowledge.
