How to apply

  1. Go to the Commission's website, psc.ap.gov.in, and log in with your One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) ID. First-time applicants must complete OTPR first; OTPR alone is not an application.
  2. Open the Executive Officer Grade-III notification (23/2026) and fill in the application. Details are pre-filled from your OTPR profile, so check every one.
  3. Select your district preferences carefully and make sure you hold the certificates the notification asks for.
  4. Click Save and Submit, then pay the Rs 250 processing fee (and the Rs 80 examination fee if you are not exempt) online.
  5. The application is complete only after successful payment. Download the filled application PDF and keep the payment reference.

Preparation tips

  • Split your time between the two papers. Paper II is a specialised syllabus, so start it early, but do not neglect Paper I because both carry 150 marks.
  • For the epics and Puranas, prepare structured lists: kandas, parvas, skandhas, dynasties and places. The notification asks for basic knowledge of these.
  • Read the sections of the Endowments Act named in the syllabus (29, 57 and 75 to 86) from the Act itself or a reliable bare-text edition.
  • Practise with negative marking in mind: with one-third deducted for each wrong answer, avoid random guesses.
  • Use the official mock test on psc.ap.gov.in, and brush up office software skills for the qualifying Computer Proficiency Test.
