We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Temple Manager to lead operations, ensure smooth day-to-day functioning, and uphold the temple’s mission of service and spirituality.

Role Overview

As Temple Manager, you will oversee the temple’s administrative, spiritual, and cultural functions. This role calls for strong leadership, cultural sensitivity, and deep respect for Hindu traditions while ensuring operational efficiency and community outreach.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure seamless execution of daily rituals, prayers, and religious activities.
• Supervise and support priests, administrative staff, and volunteers.
• Plan and organize festivals, cultural events, and special ceremonies.
• Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and basic accounting functions.
• Manage resources, inventory, and facilities to maintain operational excellence.
• Foster community engagement through outreach initiatives and partnerships.
• Maintain records, schedules, and documentation with IT tools.
• Address devotee needs with empathy and professionalism.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all visitors.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Hindu religion, rituals, and traditions.
• Proven experience in organizational management (preferably in a temple/religious institution).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with a diverse community.
• Proficiency in IT tools (Microsoft Office, management software) and accounting basics.
• Ability to multitask and perform under pressure, especially during festivals.
• Leadership qualities with team management experience.
• Commitment to promoting Hindu culture in a multicultural society.
• Prior experience in event planning or community outreach is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Religious Studies, Management, or equivalent experience.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Indian languages such as Tamil, Hindi, or Telugu will be an advantage.
