Last updated: 30 October 2026. Three UK temples have published November 2026 programmes. The Sri Venkateswara (Balaji) Temple lists Srinivasa Kalyanam on Sun 1 Nov, Deepawali on Sun 8 Nov, Skanda Sashti from Mon 9 to Sun 15 Nov and Murugan Thiru Kalyanam on Mon 16 Nov; ISKCON Bhaktivedanta Manor lists Diwali on Sun 8 Nov (free ticket required) and Annakuta on Mon 9 Nov (no ticket); the Wembley Sanatan Mandir lists a Diwali and Nutan Varsh event. For Neasden and others, check the temple's calendar.

This page lists verified November 2026 events at Hindu temples across the UK, using only what each temple has published. Some of the UK's best-known temples had not yet posted November dates on 30 October, and we say so, with a pointer to the official site, instead of guessing. We will update the page as temples publish their programmes.

How we built this list

Every row comes from the temple's own website or calendar page, read on 30 October 2026, and each row links to that page. We did not use news reports, social media or third-party calendars for event dates. Times are shown only where the temple publishes them. Where a temple's page looks inconsistent, we print what it says and flag it. HinduTone is an independent publisher and is not affiliated with any temple listed.

Temples whose November calendar we could not confirm

These temples are major centres, but we could not read a November 2026 festival schedule on their official sites on 30 October. Please check the temple's calendar directly.

  • BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Neasden, London. Its published programme ended on 13 October 2026, and its Hindu New Year page still showed the 2025 date. We found no 2026 Diwali or Annakut schedule. Official site.
  • London Sri Murugan Temple, Manor Park, East London. Its events page listed 2025 dates only, and a 2026 yearly programme was linked as a file we could not read. This matters for Skanda Sashti, so check its calendar. Official site.
  • Shree Hindu Temple, Leicester. Its latest listed event was Karva Chauth on 28 October 2026, with no November events yet. Official site.
  • Shree Ghanapathy Temple, Wimbledon, London. The website we found carried no festival calendar. Official site.

Festival dates by time zone: why temples differ by a day

Diwali (Lakshmi Puja) falls on Sunday 8 November 2026 in the UK, with Dhanteras on Friday 6 November. Our Diwali 2026 UK Lakshmi Puja muhurat guide gives times city by city, and our London and Leicester Diwali 2026 guide covers the celebrations.

Annakut and Govardhan Puja are on Monday 9 November in the UK, a day before India (Govardhan Puja and Annakut 2026 in the UK). Bhaktivedanta Manor lists Annakuta on 9 November. Temples that follow the Gujarati new year can differ, so read each temple's own page.

Karthika Masam runs from 10 November to 8 December in the calendar we use (Karthika Masam 2026 in the UK, city by city), and Karthika Pournami is on Tuesday 24 November (Karthika Pournami 2026 in the UK). ISKCON's Month of Kartik is listed from 25 October to 24 November at the Manor, which follows a different monthly reckoning.

Skanda Sashti is where UK temples most often differ from the India date. The Balaji Temple lists the festival from Monday 9 to Sunday 15 November, with the Murugan Thiru Kalyanam on Monday 16 November. Our calculated Soora Samharam date is Sunday 15 November (Skanda Sashti 2026 in the USA, Canada, UK and Australia). Murugan temples publish their own calendars, so follow yours.

Plan your visit

  • Check the temple's own page on the morning of your visit; Diwali week and Annakut days bring heavy traffic and parking limits.
  • Tickets: Bhaktivedanta Manor states that without a free ticket it cannot permit entry on Diwali day, Sunday 8 November. Annakuta on Monday 9 November needs no ticket.
  • Dress modestly and remove shoes where the temple asks; each temple publishes its own rules.
  • For home celebrations, see our guide to Diwali fireworks laws in the UK, which covers England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Editor's note, 30 October 2026

Prepared on 30 October 2026 by the HinduTone desk from each temple's official website. We will update this page as temples post their November calendars. We have not listed events from news reports or social posts, and we have not invented times where a temple does not publish them. If you spot a change on a temple's own site, please tell us through our contact page.
