🙏🌺 Importance of Bilva Leaves
Bilva leaves, also known as Bael leaves, are very dear to Lord Shiva. 🌺🙏
🌺 A Bilva leaf consists of three leaflets. Among these, the right and left leaflets represent Lord Vishnu and Lord Brahma, while the middle leaflet represents Lord Shiva. The Bilva tree is also known by another name, "Shiva Priya" (Beloved of Shiva). It is said that if a Bilva leaf accidentally touches one's feet, a person's lifespan may diminish. This is considered to be Lord Shiva's command. 🌺
🌺 If a Bilva tree is planted in the northeast direction of a house, it brings prosperity. If it is in the east, it brings comfort and happiness. If it is in the west, it promotes the growth of progeny. If it is in the south, it helps ward off dangers and misfortunes. Worshipping Lord Shiva with Bilva leaves during the spring and summer seasons is believed to bestow the merit of donating countless cows (Go Dana). 🕉️❤️🕉️
