About the role

A festival does not begin only on the day itself. Families look for a greeting card the evening before, a short explainer in the morning, a reminder of the muhurat at noon and a reflective post at night. HinduTone is hiring a Social Media Executive to plan and run that daily rhythm across our social channels.

This is a full-time, hybrid role in Hyderabad, Telangana. You will plan and post daily content on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X and WhatsApp channels for festivals, panchang and articles. You will write captions in English and in Hindi or Telugu, track reach and engagement, and moderate comments respectfully.

We are hiring because our content is growing faster than our social presence, and readers who follow us on social platforms deserve timely, accurate and well-designed posts. The role suits someone who has run brand or publisher pages and who understands that a devotional audience values warmth, correctness and calm rather than sensational posts. Freshers with a strong personal portfolio may also apply.

  • Write captions and short posts in English and in Hindi or Telugu, using simple and respectful language.
  • Work with the design and video colleagues to prepare images, carousels and short clips for each post.
  • Check dates, names and spellings in every post against the website article and reliable panchang sources before it goes live.
  • Track reach, engagement, follower growth and link clicks, and prepare simple weekly reports.
  • Test posting times and formats, and note what readers respond to.
  • Read and moderate comments with courtesy, hide abusive or hateful messages and escalate sensitive matters to the editor.
  • Bring readers from social platforms to relevant pages on the website without misleading captions.

Who should apply

If you have run social pages for a brand, publisher, temple trust, community group or media house, we would like to see your work. Graduates in mass communication, marketing, journalism or any other field are welcome, as are people with equivalent practical skills.

Freshers can apply with a strong personal portfolio, such as a page you grew, a college club account you managed or a set of sample posts you designed. Show us what you made and what you learned from the numbers.

You should be able to work from Hyderabad on a hybrid basis. Some festival days may need early planning or scheduled posts, and the team will agree on a sensible working pattern in advance.

This is not a role for chasing viral trends at any cost. Our readers come for reliable information and a respectful tone, so we value consistency and care more than sudden spikes. If you enjoy building a loyal audience patiently, and can stay polite when a comment thread gets heated, you will fit in well.

How you will grow

You will gain responsibility for the public voice of a growing publication. You will see in real numbers which posts help readers and which do not, and you will learn to adjust. Working with writers, SEO and video colleagues will teach you how one article can become many pieces of content without becoming repetitive.

You will also learn community management in a sensitive subject area, including how to respond to questions, disagreement and misinformation calmly. Over time you can help set up content templates, a posting checklist and a monthly performance review that the team uses regularly.

Because you will deal with readers in India and abroad, you will also learn how time zones, languages and customs change what a good post looks like. A greeting that works in Hyderabad at sunrise may need to be scheduled differently for readers in the United States or the Gulf, and you will learn to plan for that.

  • A short note on how you would handle an abusive or misleading comment.
