About the role

When someone searches for "Karthika Masam 2026 dates" or "Ugadi puja vidhi", the pages that answer well are rarely there by chance. They are planned, briefed, structured and improved with care. HinduTone is hiring an SEO Executive to do that work across our English, Hindi and Telugu sections.

This is a full-time, hybrid role in Hyderabad, Telangana. You will research keywords, write content briefs, make on-page fixes, monitor Search Console and analytics, and build seasonal festival SEO calendars so that our writers publish the right page well before readers start searching.

We are hiring because the website now covers festivals, temples, panchang, careers and community sections in three languages, and each area needs steady search care. The role suits someone with hands-on SEO experience on a content website, covering keyword research, on-page optimisation and Search Console. Freshers with a documented SEO project may also apply. The best fit is an analytical person who respects the reader and understands that good SEO supports good content rather than replacing it.

What you will do

  • Research keywords and search intent for festival, temple, panchang and careers topics in English, Hindi and Telugu.
  • Build a seasonal SEO calendar that lists upcoming festivals and the pages, updates and new articles needed for each.
  • Write clear content briefs for writers, with target topics, headings, questions to answer and internal link suggestions.
  • Carry out on-page fixes, including titles, meta descriptions, headings, image text and internal links.
  • Check structured data and basic technical points such as indexing, canonical tags and page speed, and raise issues with the technology team.
  • Monitor Google Search Console and analytics, and prepare simple weekly and monthly reports on impressions, clicks, positions and top pages.
  • Find pages that lose traffic after a season ends or after changes, and recommend updates.
  • Spot duplicate or overlapping pages and suggest how to merge or differentiate them.
  • Review published articles against the brief and give writers constructive feedback.
  • Follow search engine quality guidelines and avoid shortcuts such as keyword stuffing or misleading titles.
  • Keep a simple log of changes so the team can see what was done and what happened next.

  • Basic understanding of how titles, headings, links and structured data affect a page.
  • Attention to detail and a habit of testing and recording changes.
  • Willingness to work with writers and developers in a polite and practical way.

Good to have

  • Experience with a keyword research or crawling tool.

Who should apply

We prefer candidates who have hands-on SEO experience on a content website or blog, with a clear example of a page or section they improved. A degree in marketing, journalism, computer science, business or any other field is welcome, as are equivalent practical skills.

Freshers can apply if they have a documented SEO project, such as a personal site, a college site or a volunteer project, with notes on what they changed and what they measured. We are happy to read a clear case study from an early-career applicant.

You should be able to work from Hyderabad on a hybrid basis, with office days for planning with writers and developers and some days from home.

You do not need to know every Hindu festival on day one, but you should enjoy learning the calendar. Much of the value in this role comes from knowing in October what readers will search for in December, and from writing that plan down so that others can follow it. Clear documentation and calm communication matter as much as tool knowledge.

How you will grow

You will own the search health of a large multilingual website, which is uncommon early in an SEO career. As the festival calendar turns, you will see the effect of your planning on real traffic and learn which habits repeat every year.

Working with writers will improve your briefing skills, and working with developers will deepen your technical understanding. You will also learn how language affects search behaviour, since Hindi and Telugu queries differ from English ones in spelling, phrasing and intent. Over time you can build reporting templates, audit checklists and playbooks that the whole team can reuse.

You will also learn what honest SEO looks like: no hidden text, no clickbait titles, no thin pages created only for traffic. Practising that discipline on a respected subject will make you a stronger and more trusted specialist wherever you work next.

Preparing your application

  • A resume that lists your SEO experience, tools used and the types of sites you have worked on.
  • A short case study of one SEO improvement, with the problem, what you changed and what you measured.
  • A sample content brief for a festival topic of your choice.
  • A short audit of any web page, listing three fixes you would make and why.
  • Screenshots or exports from Search Console or analytics, with private details removed.
  • Details of languages you can read, especially Hindi or Telugu.
