About the role

Temples are at the heart of what HinduTone covers. A temple page is useful only when its timings, festivals and facilities are right, and the people who know those details are the priests, trustees, committees and volunteers who run each temple. We are hiring a Temple and Sponsor Partnerships Executive to build and maintain those relationships.

This is a full-time, hybrid role in Hyderabad, Telangana. You will build trust with temples, trusts, community associations and sponsors in India and abroad, onboard temple listings, festival events and sponsor profiles, and coordinate verified information for temple pages and events.

This position is about relationships and accuracy more than quick sales. Many of the people you speak with are volunteers, and they will share information only with someone who is patient, respectful and clear about how it will be used. Experience in partnerships, community relations or B2B sales is preferred, and familiarity with temples, trusts or community organisations is an advantage. It suits a person who is comfortable making many small, careful follow-ups and who treats each commitment seriously.

What you will do

  • Identify temples, trusts, cultural associations and community groups in India and abroad that could be listed or featured.
  • Introduce HinduTone to temple committees and trustees, and explain clearly what a listing involves and what it does not.
  • Collect verified information for temple pages, such as official timings, festival schedules, facilities and contact points, and record where each fact came from.
  • Onboard festival events and community programmes, and help organisers submit complete and accurate details.
  • Create and maintain sponsor profiles for local businesses and community supporters, with clear labelling of sponsored information.
  • Coordinate with the editorial team so that every temple or event page is checked before it goes live.
  • Follow up with temples before major festivals to confirm changes in schedule or arrangements.
  • Respond to correction requests from temples and community members, and pass them to the editors quickly.
  • Keep a clean record of every contact, permission, conversation and renewal in the CRM.
  • Explore sponsorship opportunities for festival programmes that are useful to readers and respectful of the temple community.
  • Report regularly on new listings, pending verifications and sponsor interest.

Skills we are looking for

Must have

  • Courteous, patient communication with temple trustees, priests, volunteers and community leaders.
  • Experience in partnerships, community relations, B2B sales or a similar relationship-driven role.
  • Care with facts, with a habit of recording sources and confirming details.
  • Clear written English, and the ability to explain a process simply.
  • Organised follow-up through a CRM or a well-kept spreadsheet.
  • Respect for temple customs, privacy and the decisions of temple committees.

Good to have

  • Familiarity with temples, trusts, community associations or religious events.
  • Hindi or Telugu for conversations with local committees.
  • Contacts among NRI associations or cultural organisations.
  • Experience organising community events or volunteer programmes.
  • Basic understanding of sponsorship and its disclosure.

Who should apply

People with experience in partnerships, community relations, event coordination or B2B sales are welcome. If you have worked with a temple trust, cultural association, school alumni group or non-profit, we especially want to hear from you. A degree in any field is welcome, as are equivalent practical skills.

You do not need to be a priest or a scholar. You need to be someone that a temple committee can trust to represent their information correctly. You should also be comfortable talking to sponsors without promising anything that cannot be delivered.

You should be able to work from Hyderabad on a hybrid basis, with office days for team coordination and some days from home. Some calls with temples or associations abroad may need to be arranged at suitable times.

Languages help a great deal. If you speak Telugu or Hindi and can also write a polite English summary of each conversation, you will be able to work with a wide range of committees and keep our team informed.

How you will grow

This role lets you build a trusted network from the ground up, which is an unusual early responsibility. You will learn how to gather, verify and maintain information from many independent organisations, and how to turn a cautious first conversation into a reliable long-term relationship.

Working with editors will give you a firm understanding of source checking, and working with the technology team will show how listings and events appear on the site. Over time you can help design onboarding steps, verification checklists and a seasonal outreach plan for the team. The experience is valuable for careers in community engagement, partnerships, non-profit work and cultural organisations.

You will also learn how to say no gracefully. Not every request can be listed, and not every sponsor suits a temple page, so part of the job is explaining those decisions kindly and keeping the relationship intact.

Preparing your application

  • A resume that lists partnerships, community or relationship roles you have held, with a short note on your contribution.
  • A short description of a time you earned the trust of a group of volunteers or committee members.
  • A sample outreach message you would send to a temple committee that has not heard of HinduTone.
  • A checklist of the facts you would collect for a new temple page and how you would verify them.
  • Details of any temple, trust or association you have worked with, where confidentiality allows.
  • The languages you speak, and the cities or countries where you have contacts.
